Oh Riupon, the trouble you get up to.

Riu had trouble with the Metovan, again, but this time it was a bit more serious so I translated the entry for everyone here. I'm not a professional translator so even though I did my best with it, I welcome correction since I'm far from fluent.

There's been an accident..

The other day there was a day of heavy snow, and on that night I left the rehearsal, but

It was on the way back from that rehearsal that it happened...

When returning, on top of the bridge, the metal plate and ice burn* made it spin around 4~5 times and hit the wall twice!!
It was just me aboard, and other cars also weren't involved.
Miraculously, I too only recieved minor bruises, but

The front part of the car was almost completely lost.

For the time being, I'm alive and well.
The members weren't involved so they're well.
No other people were involved so they're well.
All the equipment is safe and well.

But, right before the one man tour it's a lot of trouble for the office and there's no excuse for it.

Incidently, that overpass was shut down just before, wasn't it.
Is that good luck or bad...
From here on, I'd like to drive more safely.

From here on, I want to spend my lifetime earnestly making up for the trouble caused.

* Ice burn = As far as I can remember it's a phrase used exclusively in Japan to describe when roads have ice freeze over the snow and become so slick tyres can't grip.

先日の大雪の日の夜にメトのリハに入ったんだけど

リハの帰りにやってしまいました...。

帰りに陸橋上の鉄板＆アイスバーンでスリップして4～5回転して壁に２回激突!!
乗ってたのは俺だけで、他の車も巻き込まずにすんで
奇跡的に俺も軽い打撲だけですんだんだけど

車は前の部分がほとんどなくなっちゃいました。

とりあえず、生きてて良かった。
メンバーを巻き込まずにすんで良かった。
他人を巻き込まずにすんで良かった。
皆の機材も無事で良かった。

だけど、ワンマンツアー前に事務所に多大な迷惑を掛けてしまい申し訳 ないです。

ちなみに、その陸橋は閉鎖する直前だったんだよね。
運が良かったのか悪かったのか...。
これからは、もっと慎重に運転していきたいと思います。

迷惑を掛けた分は、これから一生懸命償っていきたいです。

Poor thing doesn't seem to have a lot of luck when it comes to driving. At least he escaped unharmed and took something from it.

Oh man I just looked that up and went wtf, thanks for the proper translation so I'm not quite as confused anymore.

So glad he's not hurt /lame fangirl

Shame about the timing. Maybe they should get a huge ass pimp limo and travel in that.

He seemed very eager to point out that no-one was hurt and no concern was needed but really.. if he was so intent on fans not worrying, why put it in his blog?

Oh yeah, that's right. Because Riu tells everyone what he has for dinner in there. XD

It's kind of weird to get actual content in bandman blogs (I remember the time Yuuiro went on about how sad he was once, it was pretty bizarre since he's always so ^___^), but I'm actually kinda glad Riu lets us know stuff like this even if it's not OMG SUPER JUNIOR ALMOST DIED IN A CAR CRASH. Because as much as I'd like to be cool and say I don't care... I do 8D Which is why I check his blog all the time, for clearly relevant information on...

I think he's worried people are going to think it was total reckless driving that caused it and not the weather, since he's had to go for his license again already once, I think, after getting caught talking on the phone while driving too many times. XDDD And this isn't the first time he's bumped the Metovan into something and broked it.

There needs to be more pics, though. He used to camho a lot more. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TELL HOW LONG YOUR HAIR'S GOTTEN IF YOU NEVER TAKE PICS, AND THEN LEAVE US TO HAVE HEART ATTACKS THROUGH PROMO PICS, HUH, HUH, HUH??++3+3+3

Man, he shouldn't worry about that. In a world where bandmen randomly strangle people and stab each other in the back (WORD UP UNDERCODE), some reckless driving is nothing. It just means I won't set foot in his car and opt for playing grand theft auto with him instead.

I guess perhaps because of possible rumours starting about it? I mean if people see's the van really.. kneckled or so.
And if he'd disappear for just one day everyone would be "OMG HE DIED IN THE CARCRASH, IT'S A BIG COVERUP! NO! PENGUINS!!"

I WILL say to Riu's credit that it's been UNSEASONABLE cold and snowy in the Kanto area and they don't salt or sand the roads here, nor do people use winter tires or chains... Shit, I was RAISED in Wisconsin and I fell on my ass like 3 times the other day just WALKING XD;;;

I am trying desperately not to think about the liberties Fukusuke would take with a bunch of fans at his service like that. I get the impression that he'd insist on sitting on the roof of the van... with a whip... And it makes me giggle so very much! XD

If we'd all be dressed in like. matresses I think it'd be a win/win situation. Riu would improve his driving-skillz.. and the metotards.. well. I guess everyone here would be very happy to keep Riu from not driving into walls XD

Pheww ~.~; when I read the 'Accident' title really quick I was scared it was something serious. I'm glad no one got hurt though :x
